About me

I’m a hobbyst photographer based in Recife, Brazil. I take photos mainly during my lunch break on workdays.

I’m an autistic person, diagnosed in my late 30’s and, by influence of a colleague who is also a hobbyst photographer, I started photographing too.

I went into an immediate hiperfocus on it, diving straight into analog photography, watching videos and reading all the books I could get my hands on. I’ve found that photography, specially analog with an all mechanical camera, soothes me down and helps me auto regulate when I’m anxious.

I started buying two old cameras from this colleague, an old DSLR Canon Rebel T5i and an old mirrorless camera Olympus Pen Mini E-PM1. From there I bought a vintage Canon Canonet QL17 and fell in love with it.

I’m now in the process of learning to develop my own black and white film.
